Virtual Pie for Simply Equal Education

Buy a pie.  For the cost of just $10 you will be shipping school supplies to school children in Africa, most of whom have never seen much less used construction paper, scissors, glue, colored pencils, and all those things we here take for granted.  It’s vegan, egg-free, gluten-free, soy-free, tree nut-free, calorie-free… wait, calorie free?  Yes indeedy!  It’s the Simply Equal Education virtual pie fundraiser. I picked up our pie last night, and that’s what we’re having for Wednesday dessert.  We’re going to top it with a dollop of education for our kids and let them see the SEE Web site, chock full of info on what it’s like to go to school in Equatorial Guinea, and what it was like for the founders of SEE to watch those school children experience for the first time the kind of arts & crafts activity that my kids totally take for granted.

Won’t you join us around our Wednesday dessert table?
